Objective: 

Course Objectives:

This course will enable the students to -

  1. Analyze the techniques of translation from German to English and vice versa and apply them in translation work.
  2. Develop comprehension andcompositional skills and learn “Wortschatz” for different purposes. CreateComposition on specific topics.

Course Outcomes (COs):

CO 22- Comprehension of German Texts enabling students to understand and analyze the text and answer the questions based on them.

CO 23- Enable students to create composition on “MeinHeimatland”, “Freizeitsaktivitäten”, “Ein indisches Fest”, “Mein Lieblingsbuch” and  “Mein Lieblingsautor”.

CO 24- Enable students to discover and learn the “Wortschatz” (exclusive German vocabulary) to be appropriately used in different contexts. Become acquainted with the techniques of translation from English to German and vice versa and apply them in translation work with appropriate “Wortschatz”.
