Objective: 

To impart advanced knowledge and understanding of various aspects of society and culture of the German-speaking world in order to develop advanced skills required for the Travel and Tourism sector.

 

Course Outcomes: 

CO1 – Discuss the whole working of travel and tourism industry for German speaking countries in relation with India.

CO2 – Discuss all different aspects  of travel and tourism eg. Hotel Industry, Domestic & International aviation, Visa & optimum communication effectiveness.

  CO3 – Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction.

Unit 1: Travel & Tourism
  • Tourism in German speaking counties. Comparison with India. German tourist preferences in India. Popular tourist destinations sites, important museums and their specializations. Guided online excursions through museums.

  • Planning an itinerary by air, ship, train. National and International Airlines operating in India.
