Objective: 

Objective – To develop soft skills in students enabling them to be familiar with history, culture, life style, various traditions and systems of the German speaking countries: “Landeskunde”.

Course Outcome:

CO 6 : Have the knowledge about important events in Germany regarding „Die Zeit vor dem Zweiten Weltkrieg“. Composition writing on: „Ein indisches Fest“  and  „Ein deutsches Fest“.

CO 7 : Have the knowledge about „Die Zeit  nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg( 1945-1990)“. Composition writing on: „Mein Lieblingsbuch/ Lieblingsautor“.

CO 8 : Have the knowledge about „Die Wiedervereinigung Deutschlands“. Composition writing on: „Warum lerne ich Deutsch?“  and  „Warum sollte man eine Fremdsprache lernen?“.

CO 9 : To enable students to be familiar with „Essen und Trinken in Deutschland” and also „Deutsche Städte“. Composition writing on: „Leben in der Großfamilie: Vorteile und Nachteile“ and „Meine Lieblingsstadt in Indien“.

CO 10 : To enable students to acquire information about „Die deutschen Firmen und Marken.
