Objective: 

This course will enable students:

  1. Acquire proficiency in correct way of pronunciation of both vowel and consonant sounds in German and also get acquainted with greeting forms and learn as to how to introduce oneself and others in German.
  2. Learn to create expressions as to how to enquire about one’s well being and also express the day to day activities in German.

CO 7- Students would be able to introduce themselves as well as others while enquiring about (Name,Vorname, Nachname/ Familienname, Wohnort, Geburtsdatum, Geburtsort, Alter und Nationalität) with correct pronunciation.

CO 8- Students create expressions in order to describe various objects as well as enquire and find out their price in German. Students are able to create appropriate expressions for Watch timings.

CO 9- Students know how to greet properly in German and enquire about one’s well being with the proper usage of “Wortschatz”. The course also further enables them to talk about one’s free time activities and hobbies, express what one is able to do, talk about one’s eating habits :  what one may like to eat and drink, how to place order for something and make payment in a restaurant.
