Spoken German

Course Objectives:

This course has following objective:

1. Develop  more profound communication skills in students so thatthey  become proficient while communicating in German and know properly as to how to converse, argue, give their opinions and summarize ideas focusing on the topics being discussed in the classroom creating their own viewpoints.

Course Outcomes (COs):

CO 51- The course enables students to apply the knowledge acquired to explore the recent history of Germany i.e. (1945-1990), collect information about them, analyze them and then talk about them. In order to further expand their knowledge of “Landeskunde”, the students also collect information, analyze and speak about the topic: Was wissen Sie über das Wahlsystem in Deutschland und in Indien?               

CO 52- Enable students to think and speak about:

• Mein Lieblingsbuch
• Stellen Sie eine Hindi Kurzgeschichte vor!

CO 53- The course enables students to create  their own views to speak on the issues as follow:

• Sollen Großeltern, Eltern und Kinder zusammen in einem Haus wohnen?
• Welche Rolle spielen Altenheime in Indien?
• Welcher Politiker/Welche Politikerin in Indien gefällt Ihnen und warum?
• Wer kann die Kinder besser erziehen? Eltern oder Großeltern?
• Großeltern erziehen die Enkelkinder – Vorteile und Nachteile.
• Bücher Lesen – Vorteile und Nachteile
