Trends in Literature since 1945
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with socio-political and cultural developments in Germany since 1945, to enable them to have an overview of various literary movements and trends in German Literature during this period.
CO 74 - Discuss the socio-political situation that resulted in Germany in the aftermath of the second World War.
CO 75 - Discuss the cultural trends and various literary genres reflecting the mood of the time just after 1945.
CO 76 – Discuss and get an insight into some important literary periods in German after the establishment of two German states.
CO 77 – Discuss, Analyze and Interpret the selected short-stories, short narrative texts and poems by prominent German Writers since 1945.
CO 78: Presentation of theoretical discussion on literary trend/writer
CO 79: Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction.
