i. Knowledge of German and Study/Career Opportunities in the Globalised World.
ii. How to learn German effectively.

Objective of the workshop/seminar/activity: i. Students get to know about various opportunities to make a career in different sectors of job as well as know what advanced courses they may pursue after doing UG and other courses.
ii. Students can develop a personal approach towards Language Learning particularly learning German as Foreign Language.
Description (max 500 words):
The students from different courses of the German Department e.g. COSD (Certificate and Diploma), B.A. Elective (Semester II, IV & VI) as well as Foundation had a fruitful academic interaction through the interactive session with eminent educationist Prof. V.Ganeshan. Prof. Ganeshan spoke to the students with a great amount of clarity and erudition on following topics:
i. Knowledge of German and Study/Career Opportunities in the Globalised World.
ii. How to learn German effectively.
Outcome of the activity/event/seminar/workshop: The students had a very fruitful discussion on topics related to various intricacies of German language in comparison with other languages and what should be their approach to overcome any difficulty in learning the language. The students participated in the session with full enthusiasm and interacted with Prof. Ganeshan in a very relaxed atmosphere. At the end of the session students were allowed to come up with their questions and doubts and get clarification for the same from Prof. Ganeshan.
